REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE FIRMS Water Conservation and Water Efficiency Services CR22-121142 May 11, 2023 The Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Sustainability (OS) is requesting submissions from professional architectural firms for a retainer contract that will be used on an as-needed basis. Basic services to be provided include, but are not limited to, assisting state agencies in developing agency water master plans, advising on Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO) landscaping designs and implementation, advising on native plant design and installations, assisting in water use audits and surveys and fixture leak detection, assisting in irrigation design and plans and irrigation upgrades, advising on water meter installation and upgrades, assisting agencies in the grant application process, and assist in providing adequate application documentation to the OS as necessary. Task Orders for specific projects will be prepared and issued on

an as-needed basis for the retainer contract. The State anticipates a one year term for the Retainer Agreement. The State does not guarantee that any Task Orders will be made under the agreement during the contract period to the selected firm(s). The state anticipates to award one (1) retainer contract for each of the three (3) regions identified in the RFQ. A firm may be awarded contracts in multiple regions.
