Manteo Interior Channels Maintenance Dredging

Title: Maintenance Dredging, Manteo Interior Channels, Dare County, North Carolina.Solicitation #: W912PM22B0028The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide maintenance dredging for Manteo Interior Channels, Dare County, North Carolina. Approximately 500,000 – 700,000 cubic yards of material is to be removed from multiple ranges. Placement of dredged material will be on existing placement islands. The dredging shall be performed by hydraulic pipeline dredge. Method of placement of dredged material will be by control of effluent on all placement islands except Island H. Island H is a confined placement area with a containment dike and 2 spillway structures. There is an environmental window for placement of dredged material on placement islands from September 1 to March 31 for the protection of nesting waterbirds.This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of

this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00.  This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about July 19, 2022.  The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc.) will be provided.   Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
