The mechanical contractor responded to plumbing and mechanical HVAC issues including sewer maintenance to remove debris in manhole #4, jetting of the lines between manholes #4 and #3, pumps #1 shaft alignment and removing shims, WHP#1 alarm resetting and training, and plumbing repairs to an auto flush employee toilet on the third floor. 2. Provide a brief justification for the selected vendor to supplement the response in Part II. Reference the RFP number, if applicable. The mechanical contractor I reached out to was able to provide a timely and reasonable proposal for the general services. 3. Explain how the negotiated costs or rates are fair and reasonable; or how the funding was allocated to grantee. The cost associated with these general contractor repairs is reflected in the rate and is fair and reasonable. 4. Describe the plan for future competition for the goods or services.
