LANDSCAPE OPERATIONS GROUNDS SPECIALISTCity of Oshkosh, WIDeadline: This posting is open until filled.Salary: This position is an hourly, non-exempt position, with a full benefits package. Compensation starts at $22.09 per hour.The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a full-time Landscape Operations Grounds Specialist.  This position involves skilled and manual labor work in performing and leading the work on the maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds working either independently or collectively depending upon the work or supervisor's instructions.  The primary location of the work will be at the City operated cemeteries with other duties on other City properties as assigned.    Work involves participation in the activities of Groundskeepers or leading the work of Groundskeepers and participation in the construction and maintenance activities of parks, cemeteries, and golf courses, as well as assisting with equipment maintenance and repair while working closely with the Landscape Operations Manager and the Lead Landscape Operations Worker.Qualified candidates will possess a High School diploma with technical training in horticulture, landscape construction, forestry or grounds maintenance preferred.  Candidates must have two years of experience in facility maintenance work, grounds maintenance, and small engine maintenance and repair along with possess and maintain a WI Class A CDL with no air brake restriction, or have the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.Application Procedure:Please visit https://selfservice.ci.oshkosh.wi.us/ESS/employmentopportunities/default.aspxfor a full description of the position and benefits offered, as well as to apply.  The City of Oshkosh is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the
