Both individual artists and artist teams are eligible to apply. The Work is not required to have any specific subject matter however it must be appropriate for viewers of all ages and artists must take into consideration the location, the patrons of the Library, and visitors to downtown Stony Plain. This project is part of the Town of Stony Plain Art in Public Places Program. This program is funded by a percent for art policy which is designed to enhance the visibility of public artworks throughout the community. The selected work will be permanently installed on the bench (or benches) outside of the Stony Plain Public Library. (Note: The Town reserves the right to move or de-accession the artwork if necessary and will make every effort to notify the artist if applicable.)
