development review projects. In accordance with the CCNA, and any subsequent amendments to the CCNA, the work contemplated under these continuing contracts will be limited to routine tasks related to construction projects expected to cost no more than $2 million, for studies not costing more than $200,000, and to those tasks explicitly listed below without regard to the cost of the work or any subsequent construction. Architectural services related to any project that does not fall within these categories will be separately solicited as an individual effort in conformance with the CCNA. The scope of work to be performed through task orders issued under the continuing contracts may consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to: planning, inspection, and assessment; conceptual design; construction plan preparation; and construction management for public projects by the City. Typical assignments may include, but would not be limited to, the following: • Planning and design of new public buildings. • Planning and design of public building expansions. • Evaluation, reuse, and remodeling of existing public buildings. • Design of new accessory structures. • Site planning. • Review of proposed construction by third parties, such as to confirm compliance with city design standards and form-based zoning transects. • Evaluation of the potential for re-use of facilities being considered for acquisition by the city. • Review of price proposals submitted by construction contractors for city work through a traditional bidding process, design/build solicitations, or as construction manager at risk. • Construction administration of projects designed by other firms. • Review of shop drawings submitted by contractors working for the city. • Production of field design documents.
