Foundation for Women’s Wellness invites applications for fellowship awards

The Foundation for Women’s Wellness(FWW) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to improving women’s health through research and education.The FWW invites applications for its fellowship awards program to recognize and support physicians and scientists researching critical women’s health topics. Awards are one-time, non-recurring $5,000 awards given directly to the individual. Research should be related to the foundation’s priority areas, which are cardiovascular disease, leading female cancers, hormones’ role in disease and stage-of-life health concerns, diseases or health concerns that disproportionately afflict women, or the exploration of gender differences related to the aforementioned topics.Applicants must currently be pursuing an MD and/or PhD or be engaged in post-doctoral fellowship or be engaged in post-doc, fellowship or similar specialty training at a U.S.-based academic institution for the calendar year she/he is applying. Research must be conducted at a U.S.-based medical institution, though applicants may or may not be U.S. citizens (but all applicants must have a social security number).For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Foundation for Women’s Wellness
