PURPOSE: The Riverside County Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside County Emergency Management Department (EMD), is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research and information gathering to identify ambulance service providers interested in providing emergency and/or nonemergency transport services within Riverside County. The information received will serve as a critical foundation for updating our strategic plan, specifically guiding future system design to align with industry trends, address customer needs, and promote a resilient and sustainable pre-hospital healthcare system. Thisis not a solicitation for proposals. This is a source sought synopsis only. This RFI is for planning and informational purposes only and shall not be considered as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of County to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by County will arise as a result of Respondent’s submission to this RFI or County’s use of such information. County reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any of Respondents’ input resulting from this RFI. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Data submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned to responding organizations.
