NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 33621 ALASKA SPORTSMAN'S LODGE, LLC Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: ALASKA SPORTSMAN'S LODGE, LLC PROJECT NAME: LAS 33621 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in southwestern Alaska within the Kvichak River, approximately four miles southwest of the village of Igiugig. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE1/4NE1/4 of Section 22, Township 10 South, Range 40 West, Seward Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Alaska Sportsman's Lodge is requesting a permit for the seasonal placement of a floating dock within the Kvichak River in support of commercial lodge operations. The dock is 4-feet wide and runs 300 feet horizontally along the shoreline, attached to a 4-feet by 6-feet ramp, with an additional 4-feet by 40-feet section further up the shoreline. The dock is secured by 2-inch plastic pipes and is in place between June and October. No fuel is
stored on the dock or on state-owned submerged lands. PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: June 1, 2021 End: May 31, 2026 DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: May 11, 2021 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
