eMarketplace Solution Project Description :BCNET is a not-for-profit, shared services organization that represents the interests of our members – colleges, universities, and research institutes in British Columbia. This Notice of Intent (“NOI”) is hereby given by BCNET of its intent to direct award a contract to Amazon Business to utilize its e-marketplace service (the “Service”) for up to ten (10) public post secondary institutions. The Service will provide institutions the ability to improve purchasing efficiencies, obtain business to business pricing for non-contracted, miscellaneous products, and offer reporting and data to support future acquisitions that are normally processed through other means. Amazon Business is a reliable and reputable source for a variety of business-related products and services. BCNET has conducted an evaluation of the supplier's capability to provide the necessary goods and services and has found them to be suitable for our procurement needs. The proposed contract will commence on April 1, 2023, and have an annual subscription value in the range of $75K. The contract term will be for three (3) years. In the event that no other potential suppliers come forward with a Statement of Capabilities, as specified in Section 4 of this NOI, that meets the requirements outlined in this NOI before the Closing Date/Time, the contract may be direct awarded to the pre-selected
