This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to this source sought notice must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161 is seeking a contractor for Pure Steel Healthcare Reprocessing Sinks. The prospective contractor must be Brand Name or Equal to Pure Steel Healthcare Reprocessing Sinks: This requirement is for Pure Steel Healthcare Reprocessing Sinks: The VA San Diego Sterile Processing Service has a requirement for the following equipment: Four (4) adjustable sinks in the decontamination area of SPS. Salient Characteristics: The adjustable sink shall have

redundant adjustable height controls. The adjustable sink shall have an Organizational Pegboard ATTACHED to Sink; and must move up and down to adjust to staff height. The adjustable sink shall have an open configuration shelf attached to sink and that move up and down with height adjustability of staff. The adjustable sink shall have an ergonomic wrist rests allowing for a 45-degree entry into the sinks, instead of 90 degrees, reducing wrist droop, and MSD Disorders. The adjustable sink shall have an organizational pegboards to assist in reducing clutter in the Decon working space with easy access to all working tools for optimal productivity The adjustable sink shall have FlexiPumps that delivers automation (time and fluid), compliance to Manufacturer s IFU s, and to reduce MSD s via pushing syringes through rigid and flexible cannula. The adjustable sink shall have a hood lights attach to top of peg boards, and lighting inside basins. The adjustable sink shall have face panels which must be laminate sound absorbing and have a chip resistant edge. 2.9. The adjustable sink shall be able to have cord management through back of Pegboards, outlets self-contained on unit; need (1) outlet at facility. 2.10. The adjustable sinks shall have Height-Adjustable Telescoping Drain Assemblies which allows (1) cut/connection into wall or floor drain. 2.11. The adjustable sinks shall have height-adjustable bottom shelf, to allow for easy cleaning under the sink. 2.12. The adjustable sinks shall have etching plates, which can be processed and sterilized, to prevent infection issues of cut grooves in sinks for water volume measurement. Must have factory trained and certified local installation. Period of Performance 12-16 Weeks to include build, shipping and installation After Receipt of Order If you are interested and are capable of providing the required service(s) please provide the following information. (6) Please provide general pricing for your products/solutions for market research purposes. (7) Please submit a capability statement that addresses qualifications and verifies ability to perform work described above. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought announcement. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. However, if there are insufficient Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business responses, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339113 (750 employees). After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, a solicitation may be published on the beta.sam.gov or GSA eBuy websites. Responses to this sources sought announcement will not be considered adequate responses to the solicitation. All interested offerors must respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Prospective bidders must be authorized re-sellers in order to participate in the solicitation process. Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
