This notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of that National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL). NPPTL has a requirement for Viking Life Saving Equipment brand Fire Fighter gear utilization in a research study.The intended recipient of this purchase order is: Viking Life-Saving Equipment located at 11255 NW 106th Street, Miami, FL 33178The order of supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, all quotations/responses received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government.
