Notice of Intent for Sole Source Award for Americare LLC

Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (JBLM-HCB), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Americare, LLC in the estimated amount of $58,118.80 for The Site~Rite 8 Ultrasound System and accessories in the Medical Surgical Unit at Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Wainwright, AK. This is a one-time procurement of one new Site-Rite 8 Ultrasound System from a SBVOSB with the delivery date is 30 days. It allows for assessment of vessels in the extremities and neck (e.g., jugular, carotid) leading to or coming from the heart, superficial veins in the arms and legs (e.g., basilic, cephalic, brachial, femoral, radial, saphenous), and vessel mapping. Assessment of superficial thoracic vessels (e.g., axillary, innominate, subclavian).  Prior to use, the physician shall make the determination that these products or other branded products will best meet the individual patients’ medical needs/requirements. All products must be FDA approved.This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
