Description:
This work shall consist of furnishing all specified materials, equipment, personnel, liability insurance, safety equipment and practices necessary for the professional applications of pesticides/herbicides to roadsides or other areas in accordance with the Pennsylvania Pesticide Act and as specified in Chapter 13.4 of the current PennDOT Maintenance Manual, or as otherwise directed by the District Roadside Specialist (DRS).  This work will be conducted throughout Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's

District 10-0 (including Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson Counties) as required.  Pesticide application trucks and shadow vehicles will be required as outlined in PennDOT Publication 212 and 213 (copies can be downloaded from the PennDOT website.
