mailed to the City are delivered by the deadline. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked “City of Taunton Proposal for Land Lease for Composting, Yard Waste and Brush Disposal”. Fax submissions and submissions by electronic mail will not be accepted. No offeror may withdraw his or her proposal for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the date set for the opening thereof.There must be one (1) original, four (4) copies and one (1) electronic copy of the proposal in an envelope submitted to the attention of Andrew Sukeforth, Director of Procurement, Department of Procurement, 1st Floor (Treasurer’s Office), 15 Summer Street Taunton, Massachusetts 02780. The award of the contract will be to the most advantageous proposal from a responsible and responsive offeror taking into consideration price and all other evaluation criteria set forth in this RFP. The City has determined that this transaction is subject to the Uniform Procurement Act, M.G.L. c. 30B. Therefore, the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B are hereby incorporated by reference in this Request for Proposals (“RFP”). The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to negotiate any and all non-mandatory contract terms with the successful offeror, or to cancel this procurement at any time if it is in the City’s best interest do so.
