Additive Manufacturing Apparatus: Fused Deposition Modeling

This is a sources sought notice to locate firms selling an Additive Manufacturing apparatus capable of producing parts constructed from various thermoplastic materials, including fire resistant thermoplastics like Ultemâ„¢, by means of Fused Deposition Modeling. Parts produced must be at least 14â€� x 10â€� x 10â€� with variable layer thickness, an accuracy of at least +/-0.127 mm (+/- 0.005 inch), and of end-use quality. The parts to be produced will be for Boeing and Airbus plane cabins. The apparatus should be Windows 7 compatible and capable of Ethernet connectivity. Please submit your firmâ€TMs capability statement in response to this notice if you believe you can satisfy this requirement. Send it to the email address for the FAA contact listed above. Include your company name, address, CAGE Code, DUNS number and point of contact (w/email & phone #) as part of your response. The Government will not pay for any information submitted.
