Agent Description Scope of Services The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority ("Authority") seeks proposals from firms or individuals (“Respondent”) to provide professional on-call industrial hygiene services for new and ongoing projects at San Diego International Airport (“Airport”). Services provided shall assist the Authority with: (1) projects involving potential worker or public exposure to potential chemical or biological or physical health hazards including, but not limited to, asbestos, lead, mold, and noise; and (2) compliance with any laws, regulations adopted by or permits/enforcement orders issued by the City of San Diego, the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District, the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health & Quality, the California Air Resources Board, or the California Department of Industrial Relations. Other Details Minimum Qualifications: Respondent’s proposed staff (and/or subcontracted staff) must possess a current California DIR certification as Asbestos Consultant and Asbestos Site Surveillance Technician. Respondent’s proposed project manager/primary point of contact must possess a current certification from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
