Based on the responses to this Sources Sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations

ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TOTHIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.REQUIRED CAPABILITIESThe Government requires that contractors be able to overhaul and repair the Indicator, Bim Blade with Part Number S6115-20520-1, NSN 1560-00-869-5987. The Indicator, Bim Blade is not a critical safety item. It has a DMWR 1-1615-292, Revision Date: 06/03/2018, Change # : 0.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The Government requires that contractors have a plan to meet all the Government’s special tooling and test equipment requirements with either:1. Physical possession of the required tools, 2. Confirmed requisitions for the required tools, 3. Confirmed arrangements for subcontracting the processes requiring the special tools, or 4. Specific plans describing their technical approach to develop equivalent tools.ELIGIBILITYThe applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The PSC code is 1560. SUBMISSION DETAILS:Interested parties who have the capability to provide the item listed above submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the products/systems.This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.
