This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, which is expected to result in an award of a “Firm-FixedPrice” contract for non-personal services, Neurophysiological Monitoring Equipment and OperatingTechnologist Services. The combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with theprocedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented withadditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitationis conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procecures (FAR Part13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1)conforms to the requirements of the synopsis/solicitation; (2) that receives a rating of “Acceptable”on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest totalevaluated price (TEP),

provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair andreasonable.
