ADA-72471 Proposal to Amend a State Airport Land Lease at Kotzebue Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-72471, Lot 1, 2, 6, Block 6 and Item 17, consisting of approximately 92,421 square feet, at Kotzebue Airport. Applicant: U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Services. Annual rent: $16,296.23 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical - operation and maintenance of a hangar, floatplane facility and access ramp for use by federal agency aircraft, state agency aircraft, and OAS certified aircraft under federal operational control, vehicle parking, and fueling of state agency aircraft and OAS certified aircraft under federal operational control only.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., April 9, 2024, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
