The Flagstaff Pulliam Airport functions to offer daily air service to both the leisure and business traveler. The mission statement is: Flagstaff Pulliam Airport provides quality service to meet the community’s ever-growing transportation needs. To reach this goal, the City of Flagstaff (“City”) plans to redevelop its web presence and seeks a vendor to provide the services defined in this Request for Proposals.
Other Details
The Flagstaff Pulliam Airport is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop an aesthetic, engaging and user-friendly website that is easy to manage. The chosen vendor should provide excellent customer support, as well as best-in-class, secure hosting for the website.
The purpose of the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport website is to provide simple and intuitive electronic access to information for leisure and business travelers. The website will incorporate a responsive user interface that works well regardless of device.
Other website features will include pages that will share information including airline partners, rental car vendors, airline routes, flight departures and arrivals, travel tips, sponsorship opportunities, and more. The website should be photo rich to share the location of the airport to our many outside attractions such as the Grand Canyon National Park, our several monuments, and more. Some pages may have video integration and be able to share links to other important City websites such as discoverflagstaff.com, chooseflagstaff.com and flagstaff.az.gov.
Our expectation is for unlimited, outstanding customer support via email, chat and phone, with a quick response time. At the end of the project, the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport will own all content and graphics used in the creation of the website.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of work entails producing a new website which is responsive to all devices, intuitive and easy to navigate, rich on content and visually appealing. The budget for this project is not to exceed $30,000.00. In addition, the scope of work includes producing a robust “back-end” to the site which allows key metrics to be measured. All migration needed to accomplish data transfer from the current Flagstaff Pulliam Airport pages housed on the City of Flagstaff website, www.flagstaff.az.gov, will be the primary responsibility of the selected vendor.
The goal is a more intuitive and flowing presentation of information with rich use of graphics, links, video and copy that succinctly tell the destination’s story, gives up-to-date information about air travel, allows for booking tickets to fly out of the airport, review departure and arrival, rental car, air café and other pertinent airport information.

1. The scope of this project is to create a Flagstaff Pulliam Airport website that is standalone from our current use of the City of Flagstaff website, flagstaff.az.gov. A firm that can handle all site planning, interface design production, and hosting is required. The site must include a solution that allows our staff and your staff to quickly, easily and cost-effectively update content and modify site design after the initial launch. Schedule should include milestones such as envisioning phase, planning, design/wire framing, building the site, migrating data and training.
The website designed by the successful candidate should meet most or all the following criteria:
