THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION: A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITAION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED.The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award on a competitive basis, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, a firm fixed price award to purchase 22 Apple Studio Display monitors in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Please note vendor must bid on item requested only. Do not substitute.The PURCHASE ORDER resulting from this RFQ will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to provide the “Lowest Price that is Technically Acceptable to the government. CMS reserves the right to award
based upon the initial quote; therefore, the initial quote should contain the Offeror’s best terms. CMS also reserves the right to conduct exchanges with fewer than all Offerors.All responsible sources must be registered at
www.sam.gov. The period of performance is for 30 days after receipt of order. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334111 Computer Equipment. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to
phillip.harrell@cms.hhs.gov no later than 4:00pm (EST) on August 15, 2022. All questions should be submitted electronically by 1:00 PM (EST) on August 10, 2022.Questions will not be answered by telephone. All responses/quotes submitted shall remain valid for a period of 180 days.Interested parties must be able to affirm no conflicts of interest with parties involved in Medicare claims processing in light of the work identified in this Statement of Work. In the event that the vendor/government identifies a conflict or the appearance of a conflict, the vendor shall be responsible for providing a mitigation strategy that satisfies the government.
