gain knowledge of capabilities, interest, and qualification; to include the Small Business Community, for the model validation testing of generators, governors, turbines, exciters, and power system stabilizers (PSS) at three (3) power plant locations in the Nashville District (Center Hill, Old Hickory, and Wolf Creek) . Generator owners are required to provide dynamic data information to transmission operators per North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standard MOD-032-1. The NERC regional entity for compliance monitoring and enforcement for Nashville District Dams is the SERC Reliability Corporation.Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The type of set-aside decision to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought.
