Hauling of leachate will be restricted to scheduled landfill hours and Brookings Municipal Utilities acceptance policies.Services shall be invoiced monthly. Payment terms will be 30 calendar days from invoice receipt. Plan & Spec Available: Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the office of the Brookings Regional Landfill, 4101 30th Street, Brookings, SD 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings-sd.gov. Bidders may contact the Landfill at (605) 693-3667 with questions or to be placed on the Planholders List. Special Requirements: All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the left hand corner of the envelope “BID FOR LANDFILL LEACHATE HAULING SERVICES.” Any bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. Miscellaneous: No bids may be withdrawn after the time set for the opening of bids. Action on the bids will occur within 45 days of the bid opening. The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
