The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (herein "District) intends to award a sole source contract extension, to Johanna Poethig and her Artist Team for additional scope required for the artistic enhancements of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations.

capabilities and expertise, verifiable industry experience, and a well-established track record to fulfill the requirements as briefly described in the Scope of Work section below. The proposed Contractor does not acquire any legal rights or assume any legal obligations with regard to the proposed scope of work until the resulting Contract amendment is executed.

The District reserves the right to not seek competitive submissions. Any responses received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether (and if so, when) to conduct a competitive solicitation.

Scope of Work:The proposed Contractor will provide labor to coordinate the proper installation of the artistically enhanced BRT station elements (hand rails, windscreens). Services provided will ensure the hardware warranty is not voided and the unique pieces remain undamaged.
