Texas Hydrogen Infrastructure, Vehicle, and Equipment Grant Program (THIVE)

The Texas Hydrogen Infrastructure, Vehicle, and Equipment Grant Program (THIVE) is a program of TCEQ's Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP), established under Texas Health and Safety Code (THSC), Chapter 386, Subchapter G. The THIVE program is established to encourage the adoption of hydrogen infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment. Funding is available for projects that reduce nitrogen oxide (NO x) emissions in Texas nonattainment areas and affected counties. Projects may be for hydrogen infrastructure; purchase of new hydrogen vehicles and equipment; replacing, repowering, or converting older heavy-duty on-road vehicles and non-road heavy duty equipment with hydrogen
