Information Technology Services (MNIT), intends to enter into an agreement for up to 24 months with Yes Energy LLC for EnCompass: Zonal Desktop Software subscriptions . EnCompass: Zonal Desktop is used for, but not limited to, power utility simulation modeling, capacity and resource planning, market price forecasting, and budgeting and risk evaluation. Commerce requires this software in order to review such information and regulate these products Commerce/MNIT has determined that EnCompass is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product. This is deemed a single source purchase because EnCompass is solely distributed and supported by Yes Energy LLC and is not available from other third parties. Yes Energy LLC retains exclusive ownership, copyrights, and trademark of their proprietary software.
