**Update**8/12/21 ** Amendment 0002 -  post amended specifications**8/4/21 ** Amendment 0001 and site visit photos posted******Site Visit Sign-In Sheet posted****Tooele Army Depot Gas Line and Fuel SwapThe Government anticipates issuing a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for Tooele Army Depot Gas Line and Fuel Swap, Tooele Utah.This requirement is for the design and construction of natural gas line and fuel swap.  This is intended to expand the natural gas utility infrastructure and to reduce the use of fuel oil and propane fuel sources at Tooele Army Depot. The project scope includes construction of approximately 12 miles of new natural gas line, upgrade existing fuel oil and propane heating systems to heat pumps, modification or replacement of mechanical systems including HVAC controls, and building envelope improvements in 26 existing buildings to include insulation, day lighting, windows and door repair and replacement, site preparation, main and lateral gas lines and appropriate metering. Also included is Wide Area Visualization Environment (WAVE) and Wave GIS mapping.    In accordance with FARS 36.204(g) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237120 (Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction).
