COUNTY OF AMADOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 24-08 Architectural Design Services and Cost Analysis for Pickleball/Tennis/Basketball Courts and Ball Field Lighting PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The County of Amador is seeking to retain the services of a highly qualified Architect for architectural services for design and construction documents and standard administrative services for the project including an estimated fee proposal. The overall goal for Amador County is to completely replace one (1) existing tennis court at Pioneer Park with a new pickleball/tennis court and add one (1) new pickleball/tennis court. In addition, the County intends to replace existing metal halide ball field lights on the upper ball field and replace them with LED ball field lighting and controls. Lighting currently is located on poles. For Fiddletown Park the work to be done consists of completely replacing one (1) existing tennis court and one (1) basketball court located at 14301 Fiddletown Road in the

On Thursday March 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. there will be a mandatory pre-design conference for interested Candidates to tour Pioneer Park and Fiddletown Park. The tour will begin at Pioneer Park at 9:00 am meeting at the Veterans Hall located at 25100 Buckhorn Ridge Road, Pioneer, CA, 95666. The tour will then continue to Fiddletown Park located at 14301 Fiddletown Road, Fiddletown, CA, 95629. Qualified respondents may acquire a RFQ package at the office of General Services Administration located at 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA 95654 (209) 223-6375 or download from the Public Purchase website http://www.publicpurchase.com/amadorco,ca . Sealed RFQs will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA, 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024, at which time sealed RFQs will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFQs received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFQs will not be considered.
