ADA Improvements - FY24 Project

INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the ADA Improvements - FY24 Project will be received by the City of Clayton, 10 N.Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 2:00 P.M. on April 2, 2024. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following in City Hall Council Chambers, 2 nd floor, 10 N.Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397. The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of sidewalks, curb and gutter, brick pavers, driveway aprons, ADA Curb Ramps, and other work related to the repair of walking surfaces and the removal of barriers and trip hazards at various locations throughout the City of Clayton. Exact locations will be determined during construction. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Bid packages will be available March 8, 2024. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held March 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM in City Hall Conference Room A, 1st floor, 10 N.Bemiston Ave, Clayton, MO. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY BID AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY. Request for Bid
