Sand, Stone and Gravel

TOWN OF SHREWSBURY Invitation to Bid Sealed bids are requested by the Town Manager for SAND, STONE, and GRAVEL for various Town departments for their requirements for one year period ending June 30, 2020. Specifications may be obtained at the Highway Division office, 2nd floor, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 during normal business hours. Bids shall be sealed and appropriately marked “SAND, STONE, and GRAVEL” and will be received in the Office of the Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA. 01545, until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Attention is called to minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Division of Labor Standards under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 26 to 27H inclusive where applicable. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (30) days after the date designated above for the filing of bids.
