On-Call Water and Sewer - Multiyear Contract

SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Potable Water Supply & Distribution System (Water)
The water system work to be performed under this Contract consists of providing pipe replacement and repair services in accordance with Exhibit 2 - Contractual Specifications and Standards. The Work consists of furnishing and installing labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals required for pipe laying and repair services on water transmission mains, distribution mains and service lines. Pipe replacement and repair services may include but not be limited to new distribution main installation, replacement and or repair of distribution mains and appurtenances using a variety of pipe materials, sizes, and joint types throughout the County’s distribution system.

2. Wastewater Collection & Transmission System (Sewer)
The Sewer system work to be performed under this Contract consists of providing repair and or replacement of sanitary sewers in accordance with Exhibit 2 - Contractual Specifications and Standards.
3.Water and Wastewater System Emergency Repairs
The intent of the Emergency portion of this Contract is to provide a means for the County to respond to sudden or unforeseen failures or malfunctions of existing water mains, their appurtenances; gravity sewers, their appurtenances; and all force mains. Such emergencies include water main breaks and leaks, interruptions of water distribution or transmission services, any work associated with sewer line failures, any work associated with force mains, failures resulting in danger to life, health, or property, or other imminent threats to the public health, safety, or well-being through sabotage, failure or malfunction of the existing water and /or sewer supply
