Seattle School District No. 1 Bid No. B102023 Project Title: Athletic Field Improvements at McGilvra Elementary School Date of Bid Opening: February 25, 2021 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Sealed Bids will be received by Seattle Public Schools (“SPS” or “Owner”) through and including 2:00 p.m. on February 25, 2021 at the Seattle Public Schools’ John Stanford Center, Contracting Services Section, 2445 Third Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134 for Athletic Field Improvements at McGilvra Elementary School. The work will include, but not be limited to, removal of existing turf field, installing new flagpole and installing new turf and underlayment. The cost range is $365,000.00 to $410,000.00. Prior to 2:00 p.m. on such date, bidders shall submit bids on alternates and subcontractors. Shortly after 2:00 p.m. bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. The Project
site is available for inspection by prospective bidders at a pre-bid site meeting and walk-through at 1:00 p.m. on February 5, 2021, at McGilvra Elementary School, 1617 38 th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112. Check in at the athletic field. To best comply with current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, meeting participants are required to adhere to the following: do not attend if not feeling well or currently COVID-19 positive, provide and wear own personal protective equipment (PPE) including face mask, and maintain six-foot social distancing as feasible.
