Student Rating of Teaching (SRT

The University of Minnesota (with 5 campuses, approximately 66,500 students, about 150 undergraduate majors, 4,700 faculty members, and 4,350 graduate assistants) intends to purchase an enterprise feedback management systems for student evaluations of teaching. The University uses course evaluations during annual faculty reviews to make decisions on salary increases, promotions and tenure. The information obtained from SRT evaluations can be useful to instructors by explaining how different groups respond to teaching. A subset of results is published for student use. The University must ensure that all SRT evaluations are securely handled, and that the proper parties receive their results. More detailed information is found within the Background and Scope of Work attributes, within the main body of this RFP.
