NOTES: This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. Note this posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP).The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is seeking to purchase replacement decals for Minnesota State Patrol vehicles, on an as-needed basis. It is the State’s intention to contract with Advanced Graphix.Individual replacement decals are needed when damaged from collisions, normal wear and
tear, negligence, acts of nature, vandalism, etc. State Patrol is responsible for these. For consistency and to ensure uniformity with existing fleet vehicles, the replacement decals must be of the exact same material, sizes, placement, color palette, have the same fade resistance, etc.The materials utilized are 3M, and Advanced Graphix technicians are certified in its use and application. The design, measurements, placement, and exact color palette are property of Advanced Graphix. The 3M product has been used for 15+ years and has proven resistant to fading, bleeding, unnecessary wear, etc. This is an absolute necessity, as squads have a lifecycle of 5-7 years. Furthermore, if replacement decals deviated from the existing decals, a full set may be needed instead of just one or two replacement decals. Due to the public facing nature of the squad vehicles, and the State Patrol’s standards, inconsistencies in the appearance of the squads in the Fleet would not be acceptable and could result in the need to retrofit the entire Fleet.Vendor must be able to provide statewide travel for replacement decals on an as-needed basis. If there are any concerns regarding this single source opportunity, contact Jack Moore at
