This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Instructions to offerors (Tailored for quotes under FAR part 13), evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached.The solicitation number is 70Z035-22-Q-000214 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04.This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS.Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. Where the word "offer/offeror” or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter” or a derivative of that word.The associated NAICS code is 611430 and the small business size standard is $12 million.USCG Sector Anchorage & USCG Base Kodiak have a requirement to purchase:PART 1 GENERAL1.01 INTENT: The intent of this project is to host a mental health awareness trainer and speaker on mental health, suicide awareness and prevention, organizational culture, and leadership. In response to a rise in suicides within District 17 (D17) and increasing mental health concerns.1.02 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all the needed presentation materials and resources for use (if required) by each attendee. Contractor is responsible for and must include all associated travel expenses within quote submission.1.03 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Suicide awareness and prevention training seminars, question and answer sessions, and one-on-one sessions. Presenter will tailor presentation to align with specific Active Duty (AD) paygrades, civilians, command cadre/senior official level, clinic staffs, and Work-Life staff. The contractor shall safeguard the public and Government personnel, property, materials, supplies, and equipment exposed to contractor operations and activities, and avoids interruptions of Government operations in the performance of services.1.06 EXISITNG CONDITIONS. The contractor should become familiar with the level of audience including CG rates, missions, paygrades, and D17 specific needs.
