This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order.The U.S. Deparment of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Invasive Plant Research Lab (IPRL) facilites in Fort Lauderdale (Davie), FL has a requirement for a Fuel Tank Replacement.  The contractor will provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment tools, and materials to accomplish the requirements.  All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents and its attachments.Organized site visits have been scheduled for August 12, 2021.  There will be two site visits, one at 10:00 a.m. Eastern and one at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.  The site visits will be held by the Location Monitor Dr. Allen Dray at the location at:3225 College AvenueFort Lauderdale (Davie), FL 33314Pre-registration to attend the site visit is required no later than August 11, 2021 at 2:00

p.m. Central.  Pre-register by email notification to Nicholas Langley, Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov.  Provide names of personnel to be in attendance and which site visit you plan to attend – limited to two individuals per firm and each firm may only attend one site visit.  Please be prepared to wear a face mask and practice appropriate social distancing at the site visit.Quotes must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. Central, August 23, 2021QUOTE MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. Contractor shall provide a detailed Quote, which includes a breakdown that contains costs for materials, labor, and equipment,bond,insurance, etc. in order to fully and successfully complete the Statement of Work. Please review quote submission requirements described in Section L.7, evaluation factors arelisted in Section M.In accordance with FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during a site visit, must be submitted to Nicholas.Langley@usda.gov by August 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by August 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Central may not receive a response.
