INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE GENERATORS-Hurricane Ian

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a sole source contract action is intended to be awarded to JM Motorsports LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(a)(2), Urgent and compelling circumstances exist.   US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is currently responding to an emergency in the state of Florida, USA as a result of Hurricane Ian. This situation has exceeded the agency’s ability to respond using organic resources. As a result, CBP has identified 2200IS Generators, as a requirement to aid in the agency’s response to the developing emergency operational environment. This product is required to facilitate CBP operations in Florida to successfully meet critical mission needs. Failure to rapidly procure the generators will have a severe impact on CBP operations in the state of Florida,
