NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the following project: WATER COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION RECONSTRUCTION - LOGAN FISHERIES EXPERIMENT STATION DIVISION OF WILDLIFE RESOURCES LOGAN, UTAH DFCM PROJECT #22388520 Project Description: The existing warm and cold water well supply collection and distribution pipelines consist of varying pipe materials of varying age and have diameters ranging from 4” to 12” in diameter. A majority of the 6” and larger diameter pipelines are concrete-encased steel pipe which, over time, have developed leaks. The primary purpose of this project is to remove, dispose of, and replace these aging pipelines with DR17 D.I.P.S PE4710 HDPE pipe having fused/welded fittings, joints, and/or connections. In conjunction with the removal and replacement of the warm water distribution system, the existing fish food storage building is to be removed, disposed of, and replaced in-situ with a prefabricated, heavily-insulated metal building (under deferred submittal). Well Nos. 22 and 23 are to be constructed with control valves, bypass discharge, and flow meter. Construction Cost Estimate: $490,000.00 DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. The Multi-Step Bidding Process Request for Proposals documents which will be available at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website (and can also be accessed via the DFCM website - Electronic Bidding) will provide the requirements, due dates, and times of all proposals and bids in addition to dates, times and locations of important events and meetings.
