Title: Defense Health Agency (DHA) Industry Day (Strategic Communications).
This notification is to announce that the Defense Health Agency (DHA) will host an industry day on Monday, April 24th, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ), Salon A, 7700 Arlington Boulevard, Falls Church, Virginia 22042
PURPOSE: The DHA is hosting an industry day to gather information from businesses with expertise in strategic communications to learn of industry best practices to assist with the development of a new strategic communications requirement. The DHA Communications Division will present an overview of its strategic communications needs to include historical information of prior requirements, supported customers, and a discussion on future needs. PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO DISCUSSION ON EXISTING INCUMBENTS. After completion of the discussion, the DHA will accept white papers covering industry best practices and innovative ideas for consideration. Papers should be submitted not later than May 9, 2017 and be no longer than two pages in length. Please note, information contained in the existing statement of work need not be covered in the white papers, but instead we are seeking ideas that may not have been considered previously. The white papers may be considered when developing the new requirement and industry can expect a draft performance work statement (PWS) later in the calendar year for comment and questions.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: DHA encourages attendance from all industry businesses (small and other than small) with strategic communications capabilities.
HOW: There is NO COST to attend this event, however, registration is required. Due to space limitations, the event will be limited to fifty (50) company representatives (one (1) individual per company). Submit registration requests with subject line: "Strategic Communications Industry Day" to email@example.com
and include: (1) Company name; (2) Attendee name; (3) Attendee email address; and (4) Attendee phone number. Registration requests must be submitted not later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday April 18, 2017.
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY PHONE
To enter the DHHQ, you must have a government issued photo ID card (driver's license or state issued ID) if not employed by the federal government. The name(s) of all visitors will be submitted to building security 48 hours prior to visiting DHHQ, therefore last-minute substitutes will not be permitted to enter the building.
Closest Metro Station is Dunn Loring (shuttle service is available to Defense Health Headquarters)
Please note that industry participation is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse attendees for any efforts expended as a result of or in response to this notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract shall be awarded from this notice.
