Q: As a privately held corporation, we do not disclose the financial data you requested in any capacity subject to public disclosure. We will, however, provide a letter from our CFO attesting to our financial capacity to take on this project. Will that be acceptable to the district? A: The financial statements are a requirement of the RFP. Per Section 1.1.4 D, “Should a privately held company deem certain financial information to be CONFIDENTIAL, it must identify what information is to be considered confidential as deemed so by law.” Therefore, there is a path to keep the financial statement confidential.
