For the 2020 Republican National Convention (RNC), the City is looking to purchase dual sport motorcycles to be used specifically for this event by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD). Dual sport motorcycles will provide the ability for officers to respond rapidly via non-traditional means to areas of congestion or areas not immediately accessible to patrol vehicles to monitor large crowds and
