34--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - HYDRAULIC SQUEEZE/TILT CHUTES

This is being advertised as a sole source procurement. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) National Operations Center (NOC), Denver Colorado, intends to award a sole source purchase order with Flying W Inc., dba Flying W Livestock Equipment for the supply of customized Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Chutes. Bureau of Land Management, National Operations Center, Denver, CO is conducting market research to determine if additional sources for Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Horse Chutes is available. These chutes will be used for restraint and treatment of wild horses and burros. Vendors having the ability to furnish customized Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Chutes in accordance with the attached specifications are requested to provide written notification (including the telephone number for a point of contact) to BLM point of contacts (dslade@blm.gov and tcoffenbery@blm.gov) within 15 calendar days from the date of this announcement.

The submitted response shall include documentation to prove the vendor is a viable source to supply these Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Chutes. Any information received from interested parties will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, any submissions received that do not include the requested information will be considered non-responsive to this request without further consideration.Based on the information available at this time, the BLM considers the Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Chutes as being available from a single source. The only known source is: Flying W Inc. (dba Flying W Livestock) 922 Highway 33 Watonga, Oklahoma 73772 The BLM intends to procure the Hydraulic Squeeze/Tilt Chutes from the above source on the basis of being the only known source. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. This notice may represent the BLMs only official notice of this procurement.
