Maintenance Support Services for Electronic Security System

The DLA Contracting Services Office (DCSO) Philadelphia is in the process of issuing an RFP for Maintenance Support Services for Electronic Security System At Defense Logistics Agency Philadelphia.  However, pror to issuing the RFP and in accordance with FAR Part 10, market research is being conducted to provide the opportunity for interested sources to submit their capabilities statement and any other data describing their ability to provide the required support.  Upon closing of this announcement, the Government will develop a list of capable source that will be solicited via RPF. The RFP will include all of the contractual terms and conditions, price and delivery requirements  The below narrative provides a brief description of the required Maintenance Support Services for Electronic Security System. This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines requirements for the maintenance sustainment support for ESS. ESS consists of several systems which may include ACS, IDS, internal and external CCTV systems, Video Surveillance System (VSS), Network Video Recording (NVR) devices, interior and exterior IDS, Data Transmission Media (DTM) systems (a means to communicate information internally and externally to DoD sites), intercom and/or provision of local or regional dispatch centers (also known as security command centers).  In addition to the ESS, DLA has a requirement to support electronic key control (EKC) systems.  These ESS and EKC systems include various subcomponents, such as card readers, intercom devices, security controllers, video recorders, streamers, security cameras, sensors, central monitoring equipment, duress alarms and key
