CMGC -DISTRICT 8 CMGC GROUP 2 MIDDLE-MILE BROADBAND NETWORK

The Project is located on I-10 and SR 38, 62, 74, 78, 79, 86, 95, 177, and 247 in the Counties of San Bernardino and Riverside at various locations. The Project is to construct portions of the middle-mile broadband network within the State Right of Way. A more detailed description of the Project is contained in Appendix A. The estimated cost of this CMGC Project (in 2022 US dollars) is $151,000,000 for construction capital and $1,600,000 for Right of Way capital (including utility relocation). 2 - Procurement Schedule Final Date for Receipt of Proposers Questions - October 11, 2022 SOQ Due Date for Electronic Submittal and hardcopy - October 25, 2022 Anticipated Ranking Determination - November 16, 2022 4.2 Quantities, Due Date, Time, and Location: The original and an electronic submittal of the SOQ shall be provided. The original shall be identified on its front cover, in the upper right-hand corner as ¿Original¿. All SOQs shall be received by 3 p.m. Pacific Time on the day specified

in Section 2.- Procurement Schedule, unless modified by Addenda: Please refer to the RFQ for goal requirement and attachments for licensing requirements for this contract. The Department do not have a copy of the plan holders list of available contractors, nor does it have a way of identifying companies or entities that may have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes. The Department will allow the use of text with font size smaller than 12-point for only charts, tables, exhibits, and other illustrative and graphical information. Addendum 1 - Is to replace language in Form A Transmittal Letter, paragraph 1 of the Appendix C Forms. Addendum 2 - The purpose is to 1) revise Section 3.5, Proposer and each Major Participant Experience and Past Performance, subsection b, Firm Experience, of RFQ Notice Number 081M87CM; and 2). replace Appendix C. Addendum 3 is for the Department to respond to consultants' question(s). Addendum 4 - The purpose of this Addendum is to extend RFQ Section 2, Procurement Schedule for one (1) week. Addendum 5 - The purpose is for the Department to respond to the proposers¿ concern, and revise RFQ Section 2, Procurement Schedule ¿Anticipated Notice to Proceed¿ date.
