ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Owensville, Missouri Sealed bids will be received by the City of Owensville, Missouri, 107 West Sears Ave., Owensville, MO 65066, until 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and there at said office publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the following: Owensville Springfield Road Extension: Owensville Springfield Road Extension: This project will re-route approximately 1,074-ft of Springfield Road to reestablish a through roadway exiting the Industrial Park. Project consists of embankment placement and compaction, construction of granular road base and asphalt surfacing, installation of stormwater culverts, roadway grading and restoration. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as stated in the Bid Form. The project is funded through the Missouri Governor’s Transportation Cost-Share Program through the Missouri Department of Transportation. Following the request, a complete digital set of the bidding documents will be emailed as “zipped”

Paper specifications and plans are on file for examination at the office of City of Owensville, Missouri, 107 West Sears Ave., Owensville, Missouri 65066 and at the office of the Engineers, Archer-Elgin Engineering, Surveying and Architecture, 310 East 6th Street; Rolla, Missouri 65401. Paper copies of the bidding documents may be obtained from the Engineer upon payment of a non-refundable sum of $50.00 for each complete set. An additional amount of $25.00 will be charged for mailing of bidding documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, and to award the contract on that basis. A Prebid conference will be held at City Hall at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, February 23, 2024. All Bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting. Bids must be submitted for the project on the Bid Form bound in the Bidding Documents. Bid Envelope must state “Owensville Springfield Road Extension”. Each bidder must submit a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of their total bid.
