Hybrid Power System (HPS) connection boxes

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) in Champaign, IL has a requirement for Hybrid Power System (HPS) connection boxes that have built-in compatibility with the Deployable Metering and Monitoring System (DMMS).Market research has found that Humber & Garick Consulting Engineers is the only company able to provide these boxes. Their experience and in-depth knowledge of the DMMS meter boxes and their participation in the industry collaboration with the Tactical Micro-Grid Standards Consortium (TMSC) makes them the only company who can produce the HPS connection boxes utilizing lessons learned from DMMS and applying the standards defined by TMSC.Also, Humber & Garick Consulting Engineers is the only company that has: (1) Background working with 3eTI radios and knowledge of deployable electrical systems; (2) Knowledge of Army power distribution equipment, tactical micro-grid

Standards and rugged military requirements; and (3) Electrical engineering expertise to arrange electronics in smaller configuration to ensure electrical safety and data quality.ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Humber & Garick Consulting Engineers in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515 which has a size standard of 750 employees. This is not a small business set aside.This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed.
