THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLYThe Navy Consolidated Brig located at Joint Base Charleston, SC is seeking sources for a requirement for the purchase and installation of two heavy equipment operator simulators for use in their vocational technical education program, brand name or equal to Simformotion LLC CAT Simulator Base Unit w/ Motion Platform (G4-CBU-M-2). The salient characteristics for the simulators are as follows:Equipped with a Training Records Management System to provide prisoners credit toward NCCER and DOL Certification.Operator Training provided upon installation.Must NOT require internet connection to operate.Cat Simulator Base Unit w/ Motion Platform, including: Fully functional seat belt with sensor connected to computer software; Replica operator's seat and OEM controls; Monitor stand with 3 vertically hung 43" LED 1080P Displays; 100-250V 50/60Hz simulator, PC, and Monitor power supply;

Removable Motion Platform with 120V power system; Compatible with all CAT conversion kits and capable of loading software for present and future CAT machines; Minimum 8GB memory, 512GB Hard Drive, 16x Slim line DVD Drive, Windows 10 OS; Software for Level 1 and Level 2 advanced dozer, excavator, and small wheel loader. CAT Simulator Hydraulic and Advanced Construction Excavator Conversion Kit, including: Authentic joystick controls and OEM buttons and switches; Monitor stand with three vertically hung 43” LED 1080P displays; Keyboard and touchpad mouse; Foot pedals with travel levers; Training Records Management System with practice and exam mode; Standard SAE and backhoe loader style control patterns; Level 1 Training Exercises to include: Machine walkaround, Controls Familiarization, Bucket Placement, Raking the Green, Over the Moon, Loading & Offloading Machine from Low-Boy Trailer, Trenching, Truck Loading, bench Loading, Setting Trench Box & Pipe, Backfilling, Quick Coupler, Production Cycle, and Open Training; Level 2 Training Exercises to include: Machine Walkaround, Controls Familiarization, Maneuvering Machine, Maneuver Hoisted Object, reaching and Pipe Installation, Dig Footings, Clear Debris Piles, Bench Loading, and Open Training; Training Records Management System, which measures training exercises, provides progress reports and provides a pass or fail score.CAT Simulator Advanced Dozer / Track Type Tractor Conversion Kit, including: OEM controls, buttons, switches, footrests with service brake control pedal and decelerator pedal; Keyboard and touchpad mouse; One horizontally hung 43” LED 1080P rear display; Level 1 Training Exercises to include Machine Walkaround, Controls Familiarization, Wide and Narrow Steering & Maneuvering, Blade Steering, Level & Straight and Slot Dozing, Ripping, Backfilling, Dozing Over a Highwall, and Open Training; Level 2 Training Exercises to include Machine Walkaround, Control Familiarization, Site Clearance, Pad Building, Slope/Ramp Building, Road Construction, Drainage Ditch Building, and Open Training; Training Records Management System, which measures training exercises, provides progress reports and provides a pass or fail score. CAT Simulator Small Wheel Loader Conversion Kit, including: OEM controls; OEM buttons and switches; Pedal plate with two service brake pedals, differential lock button and accelerator pedal; Keyboard and touchpad mouse; Level 1 Training Exercises to include Machine Walkaround, Controls Familiarization, Driving, Load and Carry, Stockpile, Truck Loading, Truck Spotting, Backfilling, Multipurpose Bucket, Quick Coupler, Unloading Pallets, and Open Training Simulators shall contain hardware and software to provide training in Level 1 and Level 2 advanced dozer, small wheel loader and excavator; Training Records management System, which measures training exercises, provides progress reports, and provides a pass or fail score.Those wishing to identify their interest and capability to provide these items should respond to this announcement via email to matthew.michel@us.af.mil .
