ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

Description: Notice is hereby given that the City of Oak Harbor, Washington is interested in receiving proposals from consulting firms with expertise in construction inspection services and construction management services for the federally, state, and locally funded NE 7th Avenue Reconstruction Project (ENG-10-02).The project is located within the City of Oak Harbor. It consists of replacement of a water main, addition of a shared use path and other bicycle and pedestrian improvements, overlay, stormwater improvements, striping, and other work per the Plans and Specifications package for this project. The project has been assigned 110 working days to complete.Notice inviting bids for the construction of this project has been advertised and plans and specifications for the project can be downloaded from the City of Oak Harbor’s website https://www.oakharbor.gov/Bids.aspx. (show closed bids)The agreement will be for the duration of the project with the option for the City to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The consultant must have the ability to comply with the WSDOT consultant requirements contained in the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines Manual. This project has been assigned a mandatory thirteen percent (13%) DBE consultant goal. This federally funded project will be held to Federal EEO requirements.The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFP at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
