This addendum shall be made part of the Request for Bid (RFB) and is issued to schedule an alternate time and date for a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Responders may acknowledge receipt of this addendum by responding to SWIFT Event No. G0209-2000015581, Version 2 (or more recent version) by the solicitation due date and time. ***End of Addendum No. 1*** PURPOSE: The Minnesota Department of Administration, Facilities Management Division is seeking a Contractor to perform maintenance and testing of the normal power electrical infrastructure at the Minnesota History Center located at 345 Kellogg Boulevard W, St Paul, MN 55102. The awarded Contractor will be required to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform maintenance in accordance with the Sample Contract, Exhibit C: Specifications, Duties, and Scope of Work. The Contractor must: o All technicians performing work must be NETA or NICET certified. o A minimum of two (2) technicians performing the work must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a licensed journeyman electrician. One (1) licensed technician for each substation. The State reserves the right to verify experience prior to contract award. o All work must be completed on a single Sunday from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. the following Monday on dates mutually agreed upon between the State and the Contractor in coordination with a transformer replacement project. o Provide an infrared inspection and report. o Furnish a report upon completion of services. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 8:00 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, and should an interested Responder not be able to attend on April 9, 2024, an alternate pre-bid meeting will take place at 9:00 AM Central Time, Friday, April 12, 2024, at the building loading dock of the MN History Center, located at 345 Kellogg Boulevard W, St Paul, MN 55102. Attendance is mandatory for either date, but not both. Responders must register to attend either pre-bid meeting by contacting Jerry Krueger, via email at jerry.krueger@state.mn.us no later than 3:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday, April 8, 2024. Responders that do not register for the pre-bid meeting will not be admitted into the facility. Responders are responsible for their parking fee at the meeting location. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS: Any questions and/or clarifications in regard to the solicitation response shall be made in writing to John H. Roth, via email at john.h.roth@state.mn.us no later than 3:00 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, April 16, 2024. If a Responder discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other deficiency in the RFB, they must immediately notify the Buyer in writing of such error and request modification or clarification of the document.
